Forest Tipi is a site-specific installation designed and constructed for a Dutch art festival—a meditative structure rooted in ritual, nature, and tradition.

Built entirely from wood collected in the surrounding forest, the tipi honors the landscape from which it rises. Using time-honored carpentry techniques, the piece was assembled without industrial intervention, emphasizing material honesty and the quiet power of simplicity.

More than a shelter, Forest Tipi functioned as a contemplative space—an invitation to pause, listen, and reconnect with the natural world. Within its wooden frame, visitors found stillness and resonance, wrapped in the silence of the forest and the wisdom of ancestral building traditions.
